Bio
Mary Coughlin started her nursing career over 25 years ago in the US Air Force Nurse Corps caring for adults. As her military career diversified, she discovered the field of neonatal nursing, which has become her passion for the past 20+ years—and counting. Within the field of neonatal nursing, a care philosophy exists that acknowledges the human frailties, vulnerabilities, and needs of this fragile population. This philosophy of care is called developmental care.
Over the past six years, Mary has had the privilege to collaborate with internationally recognized clinical experts and made significant contributions to the ever-expanding body of knowledge relative to developmentally supportive care in the neonatal intensive care unit.
She has authored or co-authored numerous papers, is a recognized speaker and expert on developmentally supportive care, and is the President and Global Education Officer (GEO) of Caring Essentials Collaborative. She came to the realization that core caring actions, attitudes, and behaviors (the basic tenets of developmental care) transcend the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This realization prompted the creation of Caring Essentials Collaborative as an opportunity and a vehicle to disseminate information and engage healthcare professionals to implement and evaluate the profound impact of evidence-based caring actions, attitudes, and behaviors on the hospitalized individual, the family, and healthcare providers globally.

Larry Griffith Bio
Larry Griffith has been on a musical and geographic journey southward, and his fifth album, Bonafide, is the next step. Like any good blues, it was born of some hardship. Larry recorded it while going through a breakup, and had to halt production for two months to undergo throat surgery. Though the process was trying (because it was trying), the result is an honest and vivid reflection of the road Larry has traveled and the things he’s picked up and carried with him along the way. As songs like “Had Enough,” “It Ain’t What They Call You,” and “I’m Free” attest, Larry was down but never out.

A 2018 Semi-Finalist for the Georgia Country Female Artist of the Year, Jeannie Caryn found her way to music as a means of escape. Raised in “Sin City,” Las Vegas, Nevada, she longed for something other than gambling, neon, or plastic to which she could surrender her soul: “Something that would not implode like old buildings on the Strip,” she says. Life led Jeannie away from song and performance until April 2010, when she started playing out at various Open Mics throughout Atlanta. She quickly became a popular performer and began landing gigs throughout the city. She has been playing all throughout Atlanta and North Georgia ever since. According to Jeannie, she is driven by her passion to capture and celebrate the human experience through her artistic endeavors, always moving forward towards authentic communication and connections with those who share this world. Jeannie states, “It’d be great to see my name in neon lights on the Vegas Strip someday, but ultimately, as long as I can please an audience with story, song, and art, I feel accomplished!”

For a decade and counting, The Bitteroots have been bringing their original jam-rock formula to stages large and small around Atlanta and beyond.
Since its founding in 2008, the band’s groove-oriented approach to rock ‘n’ roll has drawn comparisons to the Tedeschi Trucks Band, Melissa Etheridge and Janis Joplin and has landed The Bitteroots onstage at some of the Southeast’s most prestigious festivals, including the Atlanta Dogwood Festival, the Sweetwater 420 Festival, the Summer Shade Festival, the Inman Park Festival and Stone Mountain Park’s Yellow Daisy Festival.

“Others before self”, a simple concept, yet it is so often overlooked as we move about our everyday lives. This idea is alive and well at the Florence Academy of Fine Arts in Florence Alabama! FAFA (the Academy) began 7 years ago and has grown to be a major proponent for the Arts in the State of Alabama. They began small and have grown tremendously. During his time as a board member of the Alabama Arts Alliance, the Director of FAFA realized that over 70% of the schools in the state offered no arts to their students. Examining the positive effects that the Academy had on attendance, grades and graduation rates, those involved with the Academy realized that there was a chance to have a positive influence in the schools without arts.

Bio
Muddy started playing guitar when he was just 13 years old. Hearing Paul McCartney singing "She´s A Woman” was then, the defining moment of his life.
He wanted to be a musician from then on in. It´s been a long road since, starting with some basic classical guitar lessons, then purchasing his first electric guitar (an Ibanez Les Paul copy) His first band comprised of school mates. His first recordings were with the Red House Blues band in the late 70s...
Muddy started playing professionally around -1979 - 1980 in his hometown of Helsinki; playing in different bands, & also doing sessions. Having formed his own first band Havana Blacks, soon after to be followed by Gringos Locos, who recorded three albums, one of them, Punch Drunk, was produced by the legendary Tom Dowd. All this was part of the learning curve leading him to join Wishbone Ash in 2004.
The first album featuring him was the 2005 "Clan Destiny". He then started honing his song writing skills for the following three albums, "Power Of Eternity", "Elegant Stealth" and the critically acclaimed "Blue Horizon"
Muddy became the band´s main song writer, as well as sharing the lead guitar duties.

Troy Underwood is not just another singer/songwriter, his talent goes beyond that. He has worked on both sides of the mixing board in studios and live performances. And he has also been haled by many songwriters and publishers in Nashville as a great writer. Troy has absorbed a multiplicity of American musical roots and it shows in some of his latest work. A stunning guitarist, a warm singer and a talented songwriter.
